The traditional Chinese festivals are an essential part of harvests or prayer offerings.The most important Chinese holiday is the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival), which is also celebrated in Korea, Vietnam, and other countries in the East Asian cultural sphere.


All traditional festivals are scheduled according to the Chinese calendar (Qing Ming and Winter Solstice are based on Solar Terms).
