Chinese New Year, also known as the "Spring Festival", is China's most important traditional festival, which is also celebrated in Korea, Vietnam, and other countries in the East Asian cultural sphere.
Chinese New Year is scheduled according to the Nongli(Chinese Calendar), always begins between late January and mid-February.
In China, the public holiday of Chinese New Year lasts for 7 days.
There is no or only 1 hour time zone deference between China, Taiwan, Hongkong and Singapore, so they all celebrate the Chinese New Year on the same day.
